Pune International Film Festival 2014

The 12th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF) will be held between January 9 to 16 at seven venues across Pune.

The festival, which is being supported by the Cultural Department of the Government of Maharashtra, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Pune Municipal Corporaation and the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, will feature more than 200 films from 48 countries.

"This year we received 550 entries for the world competition category, out of which 14 have been selected and 35 entries for the Marathi film category out of which seven were selected. There will be a special package from Spain on dance and music,” said festival director Jabbar Patel.

From January 10, films will be screened at E-Square, University Road, City Pride, Kothrud, Abhiruchi — Sinhagad Road, Satara Road and R Deccan), Inox, Camp and National Film Archive of India, Law College Road.
