Kuldeep Pawar Passes Away

Veteran actor Kuldeep Pawar known for his impeccable comic timing and convincing portrayal of negative roles breathed his last at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on 24th March 2014 due to kidney failure.


He is survived by his two children and wife Nilima, also a theatre person. The cremation will most likely be done on Tuesday said actor-director Vijay Kenkare, also a relative.

Sanjay Bhutada, producer of his last film ' Mahaguru' said, "He was known as daddy in film industry. He was my daddy also as he taught me everything about filmmaking. It is a great loss to me and my family. I was going to meet him a few days back but couldn't make it. And I regret that." He further added, "It won't be wrong to say that he live till the release of his last film 'Mahaguru'." The actor's last rituals will be done at Kolhapur in the presence of his family and dear ones.

Kuldeep Pawar was a part of popular plays like 'Pati Sagale Uchapati' which went on to become his most recognised roles in theatre industry and also inspired Bollywood 'All The Best'. 'Shapit', 'Arre Sansar Sansar' and 'Vazir' are some of his prominent films. He shot to fame with his serial 'Paramveer' on television.
