The first ever Marathi Filmfare Awards 2014 took place In Thane on Nov 20.

While the nominations tally had 'Elizabeth Ekadashi' leading the way with a whopping 12 nominations, 'Lai Bhaari' gathered the most number of awards (five) including the Best Debut (Male) for Riteish Deshmukh. 'Dr Prakash Baba Amte-The Real Hero' won the coveted Best Film, Best Actor (Male) and Best Actor (Female) awards taking its tally to three awards. Nagraj Manjule won the Best Director award for 'Fandry'. Here are the winners in all categories:

Best Playback Singer (Male)- Ajay Gogavale for Mauli Mauli (Lai Bhaari)
Best Playback Singer (Female)- Ketaki Mategaonkar for Mala Ved Lagale (Timepass)
Best Child Actor- Somnath Avghade (Fandry)
Best Debut (Male)- Riteish Deshmukh
Best Debut (Female)- Parna Pethe (Rama Madhav)
Best Debut Director- Abhijit Panse and Mahesh Limaye (Rege and Yellow)
Best Production Design- Nitin Chandrakant Desai (Rama Madhav)
